As a part of the project, on December 5, 2022 we hosted Dalibor Valincic from Wolff Theiss at the Faculty of Law Osijek. He held an interesting workshop on Due diligence and EU regulation in merger transactions. This was a great opportunity to promote Project and to increase awareness of EU rules applicable to businesses.
On Monday November 21, 2022 presentation of Jean Monnet Center of Excellence was held at Pravni fakultet Osijek. The event was organized together with Pravno Ekonomska Klinika Osijek. During the event, students and professors from Pravni fakultet Osijek and Ekonomski fakultet u Osijeku discussed business opportunities and legal and economic difficulties they face in selling goods and providing services in the internal market. They also heard examples from two companies Vinarija Siber and Jedna.
As our project goes on, we are currently preparing the report on the teaching of #competitionlaw in project partner countries and applying changes in the #CompetitionLaw course that is taught at Ekonomski fakultet u Osijeku. The changes will include Digital markets as topics which will be taught from the 2022/2023 academic year.
As part of the project meeting at the University Giustino Fortunato project partners discussed the good practice in online teaching. During the visit, project partners got information and visited the studio for online teaching recordings. #EUCompetitionLaw

Jean Monnet Center of Excellence was presented in Kosovska Mitrovica at the Faculty of Economics University of Priština on May 10 during the visit of project researcher Aleksandar Erceg. Attendees have shown interest in the project, especially in the project report, which is part of the project's IO1.

On April 22we had Day 2 of our Kick-off meeting. At the Faculty of Law in Osijek, the first working meeting of the so-called Kick-off meeting: “Defining Challenges and Obstacles to Competition Law Enforcement in SEE Countries”. A meeting of all project participants aims to present work assignments and define research issues that the project team will study within the Center of Excellence for the next three years.
