From October 3rd to 5th, 2024, the Faculty of Law in Osijek hosted the Pannonian Student's Camp, organized in collaboration with the Jean Monnet South and East European Centre of Excellence in EU Competition Law and the Croatian Society for Competition Law and Policy. In addition to students from the Faculty of Law in Osijek, participants included students from Italy, Moldova, Serbia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania and Tajikistan, who competed for the best paper in competition law. An international conference entitled "Possibilities and Limits of Competition Law: Global Trends, Regional Perspective" was held at the Faculty of Law in Osijek from October 3 to 5. On May 7, 2024, as part of the Jean Monnet South and East European Competition Law Center of Excellence and the Croatian Competition Law and Policy Association, and on the occasion of Europe Day at the Faculty of Law in Osijek, a Students's panel within the Online Competition Law Day was held. Faculty of Law in Skopje hosted on April 25, 2024, a round table of Challenges in the development of competition law in North Macedonia and its alignment with EU law. The event was organized within the JEAN MONNET CENTER OF EXCELLENCE South and East European Competition Law Center of Excellence. CALL FOR BEST STUDENT PAPER AWARD

The Jean Monnet Center of Excellence (JMCOE) announces the Call for the 2024 Best Student Paper Award. We invite all interested students to submit their papers on one of the following topics: Topic 1: Competition Law Enforcement and Advocacy Topic 2: Competition Policy Contributing to the European Green Deal Topic 3: Digitalization and Competition Law Paper submissions will be evaluated through a review process conducted by the Projects review committee. The award winner and finalists will be selected based on the ratings and comments received from paper reviewers. All details can be found here.
